FINDLAY As part of this year s community reading experience, Marley & Me author John Grogan will speak in Findlay in April.
Because of early interest in his lecture, spurred by the Dec. 25 release of a movie by the same name, tickets are on sale now for $5 at the Arts Partnership box office, 618 South Main St., or the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation, 101 West Sandusky St.
All seats are general admission.
Mr. Grogan will speak at 7 p.m. April 17 at Central Auditorium and be available to sign books afterward.
Richard Cowdry, an Ohio native and illustrator of the children s books Bad Dog, Marley and A Very Marley Christmas also will sign books.
Copies of the books are available for purchase through the woodcountyhumanesociety.org Web site; at the humane society shelter, 801 Van Camp Rd., Bowling Green; and numerous stores in Bowling Green and Perrysburg. The humane society plans to donate copies to area libraries.
