Three local technology companies each have received $50,000 grants from the Regional Growth Partnership to develop their businesses.
The partnership announced yesterday grants to Red Lion Bio-Energy LLC, Maumee, which is developing a portable system to convert certain types of waste into a biofuel; InSitu Foods Inc., Toledo, which is creating a small-scale automated food processing system, and ShadePlex LLC, Toledo, which is developing solar-electric building fabrics.
