A 46-year-old man was shot in the lower and upper back Tuesday night in South Toledo, reportedly by someone in a passing car, police said.
The man was walking in the 800 block of South Erie Street about 9:50 p.m. when he realized he d been shot twice. He told police he was shot by someone in a cream-colored car that drove past.
He was taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Police said his condition did not appear to be life threatening, but no condition was available. His name was not released.
Evidence was scant at the scene, and police are continuing to investigate.
