Public interest law firms move

Advocates for Basic Legal Equality and Legal Aid of Western Ohio Inc. move their offices today from the Spitzer Building to 525 Jefferson Ave., the former Western Union Building downtown.

The public interest law firms will transfer more than 1,800 boxes containing 40 years' worth of case files, Patricia Robb, their communications director, said.

Their new location has been renamed the Center for Equal Justice. It will house 91 employees. All phone numbers will remain the same, Ms. Robb said.
