2 killed, 2 injured in Paulding County crash

DEFIANCE Two people were killed and two were injured in a one-vehicle accident Saturday night.

Driver Sean Keezer, 37, of Paulding, Ohio, and passenger Douglas Sherry, 38, of Oakwood, Ohio, were pronounced dead at the scene, and two passengers, Jeremy Sharp, 30, and Michelle Sherry, 41, both of Oakwood, were taken by air ambulance to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Mr. Sharp was released after treatment, and Mrs. Sherry was listed in fair condition.

The crash occurred in Paulding County on County Road 153 just north of County Road 198.

Mr. Keezer was driving at an unsafe speed on a curve, lost control of his northbound car, and struck a tree, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said. The accident is under investigation. It was unclear whether seat belts were used.
