BOWLING GREEN - Two people were flown to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center with serious injuries last night after a collision at I-75 and U.S. 6, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Troopers said John Thomas, 30, of Findlay, driving a minivan, failed to yield at the stop sign on the I-75 southbound exit ramp at U.S. 6 about 6:30 p.m. His minivan was struck on the passenger side by a car traveling east on U.S. 6.

The driver of the car, Angelique Jefferson, 23, of Bowling Green, was taken by ambulance to Wood County Hospital, then flown to St. Vincent. Both drivers were in serious condition last night.
