Three roads will close in western Lucas County Monday morning for projects that will take several weeks to complete.
In Harding Township, widening and resurfacing will close part of Berkey Road for two weeks, while in Providence Township, bridge work will close parts of Neowash and Henry-Lucas roads for three weeks, the Lucas County engineer s office announced.
Berkey will close to through traffic between Shaffer and Berkey-Southern roads (State Rt. 295), with traffic detoured via Shaffer, Wilkins, Old State Line, and Berkey-Southern roads.
Rehabilitation of the bridge on Neowash between Jeffers Road and Berkey-Southern, meanwhile, will require detouring traffic via Jeffers, Napoleon-Waterville, and Berkey-Southern roads.
The detour for Henry-Lucas between Neowash and Mohler roads will direct motorists to Providence-Neapolis-Swanton Road.
