A memorial vigil in remembrance of a woman murdered in her home last month is to be held Wednesday at the Perrysburg Heights Community Center, 12282 Jefferson St.
Sponsored by the Perrysburg Heights Community Association and Cocoon Shelter, the vigil is for Henrietta Foster, 57, who was asphyxiated and beaten April 19 in her home in the Perrysburg Heights section of Perrysburg Township.
Her on-and-off boyfriend, Daniel Prater, 49, has been charged with her murder.
The Silent Witness Project and the Clothesline Project, both of which honor people who have died as a result of domestic abuse in northwest Ohio, will be on display at the event, which is to start at 6:30 p.m.
At 7 p.m., participants will have the opportunity to remember Ms. Foster, followed by a silent candlelight vigil.
