The Center for Innovative Food Technology in Toledo received some of the $800,000 in Ohio Thomas Edison grants, state officials said yesterday.
The $90,000 grant for the center was to expand its reach throughout the state to assist the growth of food processors and manufacturers. The awards were approved by the state s Industrial Technology and Enterprise Advisory Council.
