Man accused in standoff held on $500,000 bond

A man accused of firing several shots at police officers and keeping them at bay during a two-hour standoff early Monday was arraigned yesterday in Toledo Municipal Court on two counts of felonious assault and one count of aggravated burglary.

Bond for Leemon Armour, 43, whose last known address was 823 Delence St., was set at $500,000. He is being held in the Lucas County jail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Tuesday.

The shooting was shortly before 2 a.m., when officers investigating a report of a suspicious person arrived at 420 Platt St.
