A man accused of firing several shots at Toledo police officers and keeping them at bay during a two-hour standoff May 18 was indicted Tuesday by a Lucas County grand jury.

Leemon Armour, 43, whose last known address was 823 Delence St., was charged with one count of aggravated burglary with a gun specification and five counts of felonious assault, each with gun specifications.

He is being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond. If convicted, he faces up to 63 years in prison.

The shooting was shortly before 2 a.m., when officers investigating a report of a suspect person arrived at 420 Platt St.
