Northwood police issued five citations at a sobriety checkpoint set up in the 2500 block of Woodville Road from 10 p.m. Friday until 2 a.m. Saturday.
Officers cited three drivers for not having an operator's license, one for not wearing a seat belt, and one for having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
Assisting in the operation were the Oregon Police Division, the Wood County Sheriff's Office, and the Ohio Highway Patrol.
