A 19-year-old Toledo man was arrested Monday for the April 5 shooting death of a man outside his West Toledo apartment, police said.
Michael Brinck of 5725 Silverside Drive was charged with murder and booked in the Lucas County jail. He is accused of killing Kevin Church, who died of bleeding after a bullet pierced his heart and lung.
Mr. Church was shot in the left leg and chest outside 5725 Silverside Drive, Apt. 17, just before 1 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said at the time that the shooting is believed to have stemmed from a quarrel between Mr. Church and another person.
Police released few details about what led to the arrest saying only that key information was received Sunday that helped identify the suspect.
