MONROE Visiting hours for 5-year-old Nevaeh Buchanan will be today and tomorrow, and a celebration of her life is scheduled for noon Saturday.
The visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today and tomorrow at the Merkle Funeral Home, 2442 North Monroe St. in Monroe.
The celebration of life services will be at the Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center, 1199 Stewart Rd., in Monroe, and burial will be immediately afterward at St. Joseph Cemetery, 909 North Monroe St.
Nevaeh went missing on the evening of Sunday, May 24, after being seen playing in the parking lot at the Charlotte Arms apartment complex on North McComb Street where she lived with her mother and grandmother.
Her body was found last week by two fishermen in a shallow grave along the banks of the River Raisin.
