Promedica closes deal for Capital Bank site

Promedica Health System has closed a deal to buy the former Capital Bank Building, 5520 Monroe St., from Fifth Third Bank for $3.5 million.

The transaction was recorded in the Lucas County Auditor s Offi ce on June 30. Promedica has been seeking a place to consolidate corporate staff.

However, its corporate headquarters will remain at 1801 Richards Rd. in Toledo at the former Dana Commercial Credit building, where it has about 85 employees.
