ARCHBOLD, Ohio - Authorities have identified all seven victims injured in a two-car crash, two of them seriously, late Tuesday night at State Rt. 2 and Fulton County Road 22 in German Township.
Christopher King, 17, of Archbold, who was driving a Chevy Lumina, was flown to Toledo Hospital and passenger Tyler Jennings, age unknown, was airlifted to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.
Young King was listed in serious condition, a Toledo Hospital spokesman said. Tyler Jennings' condition was unavailable, according to a a St. Vincent spokesman.
The other passengers in the King car - Travis Schooner, 16, and Sarah Lawrence, 18, both of Archbold; Sylvester Rodriguez, 20, of Wauseon, and Alta Mae Ashmeyer, 16, of Napoleon, were transported to area hospitals by ground ambulances. So was Samantha Leach, 19, of Archbold, who was driving a Chevy Malibu.
Young Schooner and Ms. Leach were treated at Archbold Hospital and Medical Center. Mr. Rodriguez, Miss Lawrence, and Miss Ashmeyer were taken to Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon, where a hospital spokesman said she had no information about people by those names.
About 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, the King car, which was northbound on Road 22, stopped at a stop sign at Route 2 and then pulled out into the path of the vehicle being driven by Miss Leach. After the collision, the King car came to rest on its top, troopers at the patrol's Toledo post said.
It was unknown whether young King and Tyler Jennings were wearing seat belts; everybody else was, the troopers said.
The crash remained under investigation.
