Toledo police are asking for help from the public to identify an assailant in a West Toledo shooting death this week.
Police said Rogelio Carlin-Espinosa, 34, of 1217 Vanderbilt Drive was found shot about 6:10 a.m. Tuesday near his bullet-ridden pickup, which he apparently was about to get into when he was slain, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly the Medical College of Ohio. Mr. Carlin-Espinosa's death is the 15th homicide recorded in Toledo this year.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program.
