Findlay police hunting 2 burglars

FINDLAY - The Findlay/Hancock County Crime Stoppers program is seeking information about two men impersonating linoleum salesmen.

The pair burglarized a Findlay residence Wednesday. Two similar cases occurred recently in McComb and in Wood County, Findlay police said.

Once inside the victim's home, one impersonator gives a sales pitch for a linoleum product while the other cases the house for valuables. They later return when the victim is away and burglarize the residence, authorities said.

One of the men is older and the other is young. They operate a red, full-size conversion van or a black truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-425-8477. Callers may remain anonymous.
