Truck crash shuts I-280 on Wednesday

An overturned steel-hauler closed I-280 yesterday between I-75 and Manhattan Boulevard during rush hour, causing a long backup. Police said the rig s load shifted, causing the 3 p.m. accident.

There were no reported injuries. The accident caused the rig to leak diesel, which crews cleaned up.
