The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Lucas County recently has been awarded a $457,806 grant under the Behavioral Health and Juvenile Justice Initiative, which is cooperatively supported by the Ohio Department of Mental Health, Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services, and Ohio Department of Youth Services.
The Lucas County Behavioral Health and Juvenile Justice Improvement Initiative was created to help agencies that treat and assess children and youth.
Additionally, the award will help improve coordination and collaboration among all public agencies serving children and families in the community.
