Oregon board to discuss 5.95-mill levy for ballot
The Oregon Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. today to decide whether to put a 5.95-mill levy on the Nov. 3 ballot after residents voted down the tax request this month.
The 10-year emergency levy would raise $3.6 million annually and cost the owner of a $100,000 house $182 a year.
Board members will meet in the library at Clay High School, 5665 Seaman Rd.
