Applications to fill court vacancy being accepted

Applications are being accepted for the vacancy on the 6th District Court of Appeals resulting from Judge William Skow s death June 21.

The 6th District Court of Appeals holds jurisdiction in the counties of Lucas, Wood, Fulton, Ottawa, Erie, Huron, Sandusky, and Williams.

The Ohio Judicial Appointments Recommendation Panel will review the applicants.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. Sept. 17. To continue in the position, the appointee must run in the November, 2010, general election. More information is available at ojarp.org.
