‘The Art Tatum Celebration Column' was dedicated yesterday at noon at the Superior Street entrance to the new Lucas County Arena. The 27-foot sculpture is a spiral of 88 piano keys, inspired, says San Francisco sculptor Cork Marcheschi, by the way the legendary pianist could bend the keys with brilliant virtuosity.
