A marketing expert will speak about nonviolence and global leadership during the third annual Gandhi Lecture for Peace and Nonviolence at the University of Toledo.
Dipak Jain, an entrepreneurial studies and marketing professor at Northwestern University who just concluded an eight-year term as dean of the Kellogg School of Management, is the keynote speaker for the event, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at UT's Law Center auditorium.
Mr. Jain plans to use the principles of Indian civil rights leader Mahatma Gandhi to discuss how individuals, businesses, and nations can work together. The event also will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the UT College of Arts and Sciences.
The event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the UT college of arts and sciences and the Hindu Temple.
