Rollind Wells, who was thrown from the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 11:35 p.m. crash, troopers at the patrol's Fremont post said.
Mr. Wells was westbound on County Road 41 when he drove off the south side of the road. The vehicle then struck a traffic sign and a culvert and overturned, the troopers said.
He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the patrol.
