A man and a woman are being held on $500,000 bond each after their court appearances yesterday in the slaying of aToledo man.
Samantha Stewart, 19, of 2326 Genesee St. and Chad Irbey, 27, address unknown, were charged with murder in the death of Kevin E. Dunklin, 43, of 1020 Pinewood Ave.
At their appearance in Toledo Municipal Court, they were ordered held in the Lucas County jail — each in lieu of $500,000 bond at no 10 percent — pending a preliminary hearing Thursday.
Dunklin was found dead Sept. 24 in an alley in the 4200 block of Burnham Avenue. He was shot multiple times, Toledo police said. He was the city's 20th homicide victim this year, equaling the total for 2008.
