Driver's bond $100,000 in crash with bicyclists

TIFFIN — Bond was set at $100,000 Friday for a Norwalk man indicted this week in connection with a traffic crash that left two teenagers critically injured.

Coleman Flanigan, 28, was arraigned before Seneca County Common Pleas Judge Steve Shuff on two counts of vehicular assault and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident.

Mr. Flanigan was eastbound on Seneca County Road 62 near Bellevue about 9:15 p.m. Sept. 11 when his car struck bicyclists Shane Tobin, 18, of Toledo, and Brett Hensinger, 17, of Bellevue as they were riding east on the same road.

State troopers said he then fled the scene.
