LIMA, Ohio — An Ohio Department of Transportation executive from central Ohio will lead the department's district office in Lima.
Leonard Brown succeeds Tim Burkepile as district deputy director. Mr. Brown had been production administrator at the state transportation department's district office in Delaware.
Mr. Burkepile returned to construction management, the agency said.
Mr. Brown will oversee agency operations in Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, and Wyandot counties. The state transportation department maintains about 3,200 miles of state and federal highways in those counties.
Mr. Brown was the department's deputy director for its local technical assistance program for six years before becoming the production administrator in Delaware.
