FREMONT — Police and the FBI are looking for a man who robbed the Old Fort Bank on State Street about 1:05 p.m. Tuesday.
The man lifted his jacket as he walked up to the teller, exposing a black semi-automatic handgun. He then handed her a bag.
"She put the money in. He walked out cool, calm, and collected," said Capt. Jim White of the Fremont police. "There were no threats. I can tell you that. He came in and did his business and got out."
The man may have driven away in tan or gold car with fancy rims, Captain White said.
The man was described as black, about 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighed 110 to 120 pounds. He wore a black baseball cap, a blue jacket with a multicolored fluorescent design, baggy dark jeans, and sunglasses. He had gold square earrings in both ears.
Police and the FBI are reviewing surveillance tapes and following leads, Captain White said.
