Flu victim back at charter school

A student at the Knight Academy charter school, 3001 Hill Ave., will be back in class today after missing six school days because of an H1N1 infection, Tom Baker, the school's executive director, said.

The student, who Mr. Baker would not identify, has been out of school since Sept. 30. The child's parent told the school's leaders Wednesday that it was a confirmed H1N1 case, Mr. Baker said. The school was sanitized Wednesday evening, he said.

H1NI has also recently hit other areas, including two Fassett Middle School students in Oregon, a student in Sylvania, and a young adult in Fulton County.
