A woman stabbed last week died from her injuries Monday morning, police said.
Janea Wilson, 24, was pronounced dead at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center at 11:57 a.m.
Police officers responded Thursday to 1059 Artis Place where Ms. Wilson and the suspect, Lashae Landry, were involved in a dispute, police said. Ms. Wilson was stabbed in the chest.
Ms. Landry, 21, was arrested and charged with felonious assault. The charge will be upgraded to murder, police said Monday.
Ms. Wilson's death would become the 21st homicide in Toledo so far this year. There were 20 murders in Toledo for 2008.
