Delexis Maloy, 20, whose address was being withheld, was shot about 8:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of Woodstock Avenue, Toledo police said.
He was found about 10 minutes later in the 800 block of Waverly Avenue and taken to the hospital for treatment. Police later recovered a bullet that was lodged in the pane of a front window at 1001 Woodstock and two more from two cars parked nearby, according to a police report.
The victim told police that he was walking down the street when shots rang out and he was struck in the left hand with a bullet. He said he ran to a residence in the 800 block of Waverly and called 911. He also said he did not know who had shot him, according to the police report.
