Toledo police are investigating the beating of a 20-year-old Toledo man, who remains hospitalized from the wounds.
Police were called to 116th Street just after 1 a.m. Saturday on the call of several people involved in a fight. When arriving on scene, police found emergency crews had already responded to a report of an injured person.
Michael Rembowski, 20, was beaten as he was walking with two others. According to a witness of the incident, Mr. Rembowski was assaulted by several men. Also injured was Phil Reynolds, 22, of Toledo, who told police he was hit when he attempted to help.
The stabbing remains under investigation. No suspects were identified.
