Libbey Inc. reports profit, loss in sales

Libbey Inc. on Thursday reported a third-quarter profit of $3.5 million, or 23 cents a share, compared to a loss of $6 million, or 40 cents a share, for the same period a year ago.
The Toledo table glass maker said it had sales for the quarter of $186.9 million, down 12 percent from the $211.5 million a year ago.
