Teenager arrested in death of central Toledo man
The central Toledo man found dead in his home Thursday evening likely died hours earlier, authorities said.
Brian Robinson, 46, was found on the floor of his home in the McClinton Nunn Homes public housing complex in a pool of blood about 8:50 p.m. Thursday. A friend visiting the apartment at 494 Martin Lane discovered the apparently beaten Mr. Robinson, Toledo Police Capt. Ray Carroll said. He was dead at the scene.
An autopsy to be performed today is expected to reveal he died hours before, Captain Carroll said.
Police have charged a 17-year-old male with aggravated murder and aggravated robbery. The suspect allegedly knew Mr. Robinson and is accused of taking his cell phone and other items from the home, Captain Carroll said. The suspect's name was withheld by police.
Neighbors in the 400 block of Martin said Mr. Robinson moved into the complex this summer. He lived alone.
