Suspect in Ottawa Hills assault turns himself in

A Toledoan wanted for the assault of a man during an incident in an Ottawa Hills home was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court yesterday.

Anthony M. Peake, 28, turned himself in at the Lucas County jail early yesterday. He is accused of severely beating a man at a home in the 4100 block of Brookside Road on Jan. 10.

Ottawa Hills police and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force sought information leading to Peake's arrest. A warrant was issued Jan. 16.

Peake also is facing unrelated charges of assault and criminal damaging in municipal court. Monday, he was released on a $25,000 bond, and a Feb. 10 hearing was set.
