Sentencing is in March in Allen County auto death

LIMA, Ohio - A Lima man convicted of causing the death of a Bluffton woman in a traffic crash is to be sentenced March 15 in Allen County Common Pleas Court. Dennis Key II, 25, pleaded guilty Thursday to aggravated vehicular homicide in the April 4 death of Tammy Carter, 42.

He faces up to five years in prison when he is sentenced by Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey Reed.

Ms. Carter was westbound on State Rt. 81 east of Lima and was trying to turn left into a parking lot. Key, who was eastbound on Route 81, passed another eastbound vehicle at high speed and hit Ms. Carter's car.
