John Crisp, The Blade's director of new media, now also oversees the paper's advertising and marketing operations. His new title, effective immediately, is director of Sales and Marketing/New Media, said Joseph Zerbey IV, president and general manager of the newspaper.
Mr. Crisp replaces The Blade's former director of sales and marketing, Philip Frebault, who resigned. In addition, Michael Mori has been promoted to advertising director of the newspaper and will assist Mr. Crisp. Mr. Mori had been advertising manager for national sales.
Mr. Zerbey said Wednesday, "Both bring a lot of experience to the job. The fit is very good."
