Super 8 Motel evacuated after fire at adjacent restaurant

MILLBURY - A Super 8 Motel was evacuated near I-280 and the Ohio Turnpike Wednesday morning after a fire was discovered at an adjoining restaurant, fire officials said.
The blaze in the kitchen area of the Stony Ridge Inn, 3491 Latcha Rd., was reported at 5:30 a.m., said Lake Township Fire Chief Todd Walters.
The fire is believed to be suspicious in nature, Chief Walters said. No injuries were reported.
Crews from six area departments, including Lake Township, Northwood, Perrysburg Township, Allen-Clay, Troy, and Pemberville, remained on scene at 8 a.m.
Fire officials were using ladders to fight the blaze.
