Tips sought in '92 slaying of woman, 35, on Paxton St.

Toledo police are seeking information about the slaying of Rosalind White, 35, who was found shot in the head 18 years ago in the 1100 block of Paxton.

Officers investigating a report of shots fired Jan. 3, 1992, found Ms. White in the street about 6:50 p.m. At the time, she was living at 1206 Paxton St. Neighbors saw two or three young men running away. They reported hearing an argument before the gunshots, police said.

Ms. White died about 5 p.m. the next day in Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. The Lucas County Coroner's Office ruled that her death was a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to the head.

Anyone with information about the murder is asked to call Crime Stopper. Callers may remain anonymous and could qualify for a reward.
