Toledo man, 25, killed driving vehicle into train

A Toledo motorist was killed yesterday when he drove into a train stopped at a crossing on West Laskey Road, authorities said.

Aaron Crowe, 25, of 3726 Wycliffe Drive was trapped in the wreckage and pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

The crash occurred about 2:50 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Laskey near Willys Parkway.

Mr. Crowe drove into the side of a tank car, police said.

The crossing signals were activated at the time of the collision.

Toledo police are investigating the crash as an accident.
