Sewer construction that had been scheduled to start Monday along part of Berdan Avenue in West Toledo has been delayed “two to three weeks” while state officials review changes in the project's plans, the city announced.
The Berdan work, part of a larger Toledo Waterways Initiative to install new trunk sewers in West Toledo to eliminate storm runoff overflows, will close that street to through traffic between Jackman Road and Haverhill Drive.
No details were immediately available about why a review was needed.
