A Liberty Center, Ohio, man was killed Tuesday when the car he was driving struck an embankment and overturned in southeastern Fulton County, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
Jonathan Selmek, 31, who was thrown from the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene in Swan Creek Township, troopers said.
Mr. Selmek was eastbound on County Road A just west of the Lucas County line about 7:10 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle.
It ran off the south side of the road, returned to the road, then went off the north side of the road, where it hit the embankment and overturned, troopers said. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
