A Toledo man believed to have shot a gun from a minivan at a pedestrian as he drove past was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury Thursday.

Darron Hughes, 26, of 2605 Chase St., was charged with four counts of felonious assault, each with a gun specification. If convicted, he faces up to 35 years in prison.

According to police, Robert Gray, 22, was in the 900 block of North Superior Street when several shots were fired from a dark-colored minivan. Mr. Gray was shot multiple times in the back, buttocks, and elbow about 11 p.m. April 21.
