FINDLAY — Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. Wednesday reported first-quarter profits of $11.6 million, or 19 cents per share, compared to a $21.3 loss, or 36 cents per share, for the same period a year ago.
The Findlay-based replacement tire manufacturer said it had sales for the quarter of $754 million, up 32 percent from the $541 million it reported for the first quarter of 2009.
