Acting Fostoria fire chief replaced after his arrest

FOSTORIA — Fire Capt. Jim Walters has been named acting fire chief after the arrest — and demotion — of acting Chief Brian Anderson on Monday.

Mr. Anderson, 45, was arrested Saturday by Wood County Sheriff's deputies and charged with domestic violence after he allegedly assaulted his wife at their Perry Township home.
