Woodell to direct Latta offices in 3 communities

BOWLING GREEN — Fremont native Everett Woodell, Jr., has been named district director for U.S. Rep. Bob Latta (R., Bowling Green).

Mr. Woodell replaces Barbara Barker of Antwerp, who is retiring after 21 years with the 5th Congressional District offices — first for the late U.S. Rep. Paul Gillmor (R., Old Fort), then for Mr. Latta.

Mr. Woodell had worked as deputy communications director and district representative for Mr. Gillmor and then became director of Mr. Latta's Bowling Green district office. He will now oversee district offices and staff in Bowling Green, Defiance, and Norwalk.
