Tiffin man sentenced to 7 years for stabbing

TIFFIN — A Tiffin man convicted of stabbing his neighbor has been sentenced to seven years in prison by Judge Steve Shuff of Seneca County Common Pleas Court.

David DeAnda, 36, was convicted by a jury of felonious assault for the Sept. 19, 2009, stabbing of David Swartz, 48.

Police have said that the stabbing was the culmination of a feud.
