DEFIANCE — Area law enforcement agents arrested 32 people in a drug bust Thursday at multiple locations in Defiance County, Sheriff David Westrick said.
Those arrested were among 63 northwest Ohio residents who were indicted on drug-related charges Monday in Defiance County Common Pleas Court, Sheriff Westrick said.
The remaining 31 individuals were at large as of Thursday afternoon, the sheriff said.
The indicted were charged with a total of 232 drug-related counts ranging from fifth-degree felonies to second-degree felonies. Drugs involved ranged from cocaine to prescription pills.
The names of those charged were being withheld until all the indictments are served, according to the sheriff's office.
