University of Findlay receives grant to aid students
FINDLAY — The University of Findlay has received the first $25,000 of a four-year, $100,000 grant from the Charles E. Schell Foundation providing interest-free educational assistance loans.
Representatives of Fifth Third Bank, serving as foundation trustee, presented the grant to the university's president, Katherine Rowe Fell, to help students who otherwise might not be able to complete their education.
The Charles E. Schell Foundation was established in Cincinnati in 1932 to provide educational help to citizens of Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and nearby states.
